having discovered an empty castle in the small town of denton, ohio, astrophysics professor doctor everett scott founded DENTON UNIVERSITY in nineteen sixty five. doctor scott refurbished the entire castle & began accepting pupils as soon as he could — his lifelong dream had been to awaken a d e s i r e to learn within the young people of denton. fast forward to nineteen seventy three. the future is bright, the skies are blue, & doctor scott’s charming little school is thriving — but one troublesome biochemistry major could c h a n g e all that.
francis n. furter, better known to friends & FOLLOWERS simply as frank, has a dream, too : to build & give life to an artificial human being, which doctor scott would encourage if frank wasn’t performing his experiments w i t h i n the university. but frank is wealthy, frank is brilliant, frank is DANGEROUS, & scott has reason to believe frank might not be 100% HUMAN – but everyone’s taking frank’s side. scott’s just a crazy old man, right ?
